The profession needs to understand that the healing arts have been around for centuries. It’s acceptance has been built and developed by public funds, whether from business, governmental agencies, or through individuals. It is time for Chiropractic to involve itself in the process of funding. Some funding is currently being done through various colleges; however, percentage-wise the profession has received minimal outside funding compared to what it should have. It is the desire of CCI/CHER to help the students, the colleges and the profession in obtaining funding. One of the most ambitious projects of the Institute is the development of a National TELETHON. This would involve all of the colleges who want to participate, as well as their students. All Chiropractors will be encouraged to invite their patients to view the program, and to get others to view it with them.
