CHER Clinic - Downey, CA

Coy Chiropractic Institute (CCI) was founded in 1978 and incorporated in 1981 as the only a 501(c)(3) Public Non-Profit Charitable Organization in the Chiropractic field.

CCI’s primary mission is to bring to the public a greater awareness and appreciation of the health benefits of Chiropractic, and an understanding of the advantages of natural health care services.

Chiropractic has much to offer in helping individuals reach and maintain an elevated state of improved health.

CCI opened the CHER Clinic in Downey, California, to further their mission and gain additional public support through educational programs.  The programs included scoliosis screenings in public and parochial schools in Southern California.

At the beginning, CCI received funding from United Way’s charitable giving program, and support through the Red Cross.  Now CCI is dependent on public-supported donations and fund-raising events.  (See Events and Programs for details.)
